Like to ask a question .Just bought 3D ACA 510 and the 520. The 510 looks like cottage cheese is this normal ? the 520 is fine. I wonder if it will affect the proformance> I have only used a little bit so far. As far far as I know has not be subject to freezing. Thanks Tom

Where did you purchase the product?

I've never heard of compounds having a shelf life, other than drying out over time.

I would think if the product was frozen and thawed it would separate. I think it's caused by the emulsifier breaking down.
Maybe toss it in the wifes blender on high and see it it comes back together ;)

I have 2 gals that look just like that. They sent me a replacement and it was the same way.

What did you end up doing? Keep it? Get it replaced?

My guess is that the stuff is freezing at some point during transit.

Freezing temps can wreak havoc with chemicals. I had an issue 6 or 7 years ago with some Euro I had just received. Sprayed really weird. Wouldn't lay out. Called Barry and the only thing we could figure was that it froze sitting on the loading dock at the UPS depot. Barry sent me another gallon and all was good.
Not being a Chemist I can't speak to specifics of why but I'm guessing that the formula of the 510 is such that it can't handle freezing. Lord knows it's been cold enough.

mine is like that and i think thats just the way it is. i have had some gallons slightly worse than others. maybe just different batches. it works just fine. nothing wrong with it. 500 is not like that however. the 510 i believe to be a little thicker so i comes out the bottle looking a bit lumpy. it should be smooth though. there is no chunks in it. its just a bit more of a gel. i dont think it has frozen. i go though about a gallon a month and its been like that through the summer as well. use it, it works great

I bought it off Amazon And yes shook it up like crazy.I work in my shop full time and yes 55 at night and 70 in day time. I3 D's customer service is not to good cant't get no one to answer the phone . I feel better Jim C piped in
