Air bubbles????

I brushed on some epoxy today (2 coats, 2 hours appart) on a small area that I'm working on. I'm wondering if perhaps I didn't let it dry enough between coats? The pictures shows some small bubbles (sorry for the yellowish tint in the picture). I'm not concerned because once I get the filler done, the bubbles will end up being sanded out. But I'm just curious what they are and if my instincts of not having the first coat dry enough is what happened.

You surely put it on thick no doubt. I would say those are air bubbles that the surface dried before they could pop and flow out. I would not recommend doing that again because it can cause problems especally if there are bubbles inside the coating that you can't see and if the bubbles go all the way down to the metal then that spot will be the weak link. What kind of part is this?
I would say it was caused by a brush being dabbed around in the primer fluffing up the bristles while picking up primer instead of being just dipped into primer.

man you sure you used a brush. looks more like it was poured on lol. thats heavy for sure. bubble are just solvent flashing white the epoxy was still wet in puddles.
