I guess I'm still hesitant and have ZERO clue what to buy. 
I completely understand the rotary is the better tool for cutting...but other than that it's going to be useless to me I feel.
Do you guys just finish out with the rotary since you have mastered it and don't get many swirls? Or buff by hand? Or bust out a RO to buff?
The hybrid can cut and buff and is safer so I'm confused why NOBODY recommends it.
I'm not concerned about getting it done quickly so what does the rotary offer over the hybrid other than that?
If you say a better finish how does it accomplish that?
Does anyone have the hybrid 3401 and can say how it does cutting DA scratches?
