Anchor pattern inside doors for epoxy

What are you guys doing for epoxy adhesion on the inside of doors. I know most of you don't have to deal with this, because of having new doors with e coat or just painting the outer skin. I would like to get good adhesion on the back side also.

Inside doors with E-Coat all you need to do is use a scuff pad and shoot, never have seen a problem doing this.

Are you asking how to do the inside of old doors?
Media blast is my preference.

Yeah, I thought about blasting with fine crushed glass or plastic, but it wouldn't give much of an anchor pattern.

Any sanding, scuffing, blasting you can do is better than nothing. I really like to skin doors so I can blast the frame and epoxy the inside then sand the inside of the skin and epoxy before assembly but on assembled doors you're definately limited. Keep in mind though even with minimal prep work the epoxy isn't going to just fall off especially off of inner surfaces where nothing will come in contact with it so if you can get it clean and somewhat scuffed up it will be fine.

I've been told that the crushed glass gives a great anchor pattern for adhesion. Never used it to know though.
