Anybody ever heard of "hi-temp" brand compounds/polishes?

I never heard of them sorry but years ago I did wax my motorcycle exhaust "once". After I started it I made sure I never did that again.

Alright, well i found their website. I'm not interested but my part time employee has used them in the past and he wants to use the stuff really bad, on my customer's cars.....

And I'm terrified at the idea. I'm using 3-m Perfect it system currently, after leveling and fine sanding clear with eagle yellow and bufflex products.

I've used wizzards and meguirars in the past but this hi temp stuff.... scares the shit out of me, like some hillbillies mixed ajax and hand cream in their garage and tossed a label on it.

That's funny

To be fair, I watched him use some tonight and it didn't wreck anything. But I'm OCD about final finishing.

Dave, most likely nothing to worry about, probably just a private label and safe to use.
It would take a lot of money to start manufacturing your own compounds.

Thanks Barry.

I'm working on some of your universal clear over a metalux tri coat color (platinum pearl white) on a 69 Mach 1.

She's getting very slick.

My only complaint is I'm tired of arm wrestling my 12 lb Milwaukee rotary buffer.

Looking real hard at the 3403 Flex rotary and figured I might as well order it as a kit from chemical guys with a few h-logic pads and their trial package of compounds.

foam only for a while. orange then black. the vseries makes no mess. you use very little at a time. i rinse the pad after 3 rounds.

I do like to do wool first then step into foam. The wool and rotary buffer will get the majority of the scratches out faster then the foam. I use chemical guys now after the wool and Maguire's and love it. I am going to be getting either the Rupes or Flex orbital buffer real soon I just have to make a decision which one it will be, both look real nice, I know Chad got the Rupes. The Rupes has a larger orbit which is good and the Flex has a smaller orbit but has a powered (kinda) orbit and higher speed. The choice for me is tough mainly because I'm a Flex guy.

Don't forget to get the pad conditioner spray and spritz the pad before using the compound that really does help.

Heavy, I can get you the part number tomarrow, I also love the 2" pile schlegel wool pad far better then the standard pile.
