Bought a project with Picklex on it- How can I remove it??

I just bought a project car with pickle 20 on the bare metal. I want to get rid of the pickle entirely before using SPI Epoxy primer. What is the best way to do this? Sandblast? Wash??

I do not want ANY Picklex leftover and want to make sure the job is done right.

Thanks for any help you guys can offer!

Everything I have read said to scuff it off with sand paper or scotchbrite. But I have no experience with doing it, just read it.

Wash it with 700-1 (no solvent) Sand with 80 grit DA, wash with 700-1, after drying let set 45mins and then spray epoxy.

Thank you guys. I wish this guy did not use it at all, but I think he was trying to protect the metal while he stripped the car.
