I need to paint a bumper cover for my granddaughter's Honda and have zero experience with painting plastic parts. It's an aftermarket part made by TYG Products. Their information says it has a waterborne primer on it from the factory. Based on things I've read here, I should scuff it with a gray pad and paste and then seal prior to base. I've got SPI epoxy. Would that work as a sealer? I'm planning to use Wanda base {activated} and SPI production clear as I can get both from the same local store where I normally buy my supplies.
