Carbon Fiber

Carbon fiber is fiber cloth & epoxy resin. It would sand similar to an epoxy primer. Mapping from the cloth pattern showing through is the biggest problem with cf products. You'd want to limit the depth of sanding as much as possible. I'd probably epoxy primer it first after scuffing & DSC00796.JPG

then use sprayable primer surfacer on top to do most of the sanding with.



Course if I paid al that for real cf, I'd at least have a strip of it left bare & buried in uv clear to show it off, like Foose did with his own car.
