Changing tint of Red

I bought a gallon of spi red and would really like to change the shade of it. I have sprayed a couple of test pieces and the 1 on the left is what Im after. The 1 on the right is spi red. Just need to lighten it up some. Is this gonna be possible without going pink lol? I talked to Barry about it but did not have a picture at the time. Do yall think its possible?

I wouldn't try to get from one to the other. Better have a jobber match something for you. Reason being, even if you add enough to get close, it will likely be muddy because you are moving from a bluer darker shade red to a brighter yellow shade red. From the brighter to the darker would be easier than the other way around.

Adding white is not the answer, BTW. Bright yellow and/or orange, maybe, but not white, at least not a lot of it.
