cleaning up paint

My daughter just bough a '08 impala. It is black and has ones all dent. My question relates to the paint. In has obviously been outdoors all of it't life. The paint is not faded or bad. It has that dirty feeling, not. Really slick, that I would like. Please give suggestions.for products to clean and or buff it out. I have an air buffer that I can adjust the speed with the regulator, so I would like to know what buffing products and techniques to use. The only local pain supplier is a DuPont/ Nason dealer.
Thanks, gary

Get one of these. It replaces a traditional clay bar. They are costly up front but will last a long time. Wash your car first then use this. If you really want to see how rough it is, put your hand in a Ziploc bag and rub the cars surface. You will be amazed at how rough it really is. Use a good quality detailer as the lubricant. Keep doing it until the paint feels smooth then move on to the buffing steps.
