Clear activator with summit base coats

Hello folks....I was on here before under a different screen name, but when I tried to log in (it has been a while) it couldnt find me. Im assuming with the new forum we had to re-register? But the real reason Im here....

Im going to give summit base coats a try on a couple test panels, and they recommend adding an ounce of clear coat hardner with the base coat. Im wondering, since Im going to use SPIs universal clear, if I can use SPIs clear coat activator and not have to buy summit clear coat hardner. Thanks! :cool:
