Curious what the process would be for clear coating polished aluminum. It should probably be anodized but is clear coating an option, and how would.it adhere if you cant really scratch it up?

Same question for gold plating?

That 5:1 ratio mix I'm assuming. All these point (2.0) something versions of things Today and I don't like assumptions messing with the Day I'm assuming is going great and got screwed up by an assumption most likely I assume.
I use to be hip on Barry shorthand but been awhile. Lol..

I assumed as well. lol, This was great timing as I have a guy getting ready to clear over big letters for a sign he is making. I picked up the phone right away and gave him the info.

I don't know all the newer numbers and was like, Wtf is 600 5.1 6500 activator with all the v.o.c. numbers and such on everything, found the New tech manual and price sheet then realized the 600 is adpro and 6500 is it's cat then the 5watt light bulb came on.
No It's not SPI's new Clear I'm not familiar with, just use it First. Which I plan on now. Excellent...

Over polish clean good with 700 -1

Activate the 600 5:1 with 6501 activator.
Spray one coat, wait 30 to 45 mins, and clear.
We have had good luck over the years doing this.
Barry, your reply here is for polished stainless steel, would it also work on chrome?

i have cleared chrome many times. typically no need to do it to chrome but if you add a candy to the clear you can make colored chrome. barry's process above works well and it adheres decent. is it bonded like 80 grit steel and epoxy primer...no but its a somewhat acceptable bond that will hold up ok unless its getting really beat up with rocks, etc. i had no issues doing motorcycle wheels and things like that.

That's incredible, I never thought anything would stick to chrome
