He hasn't commented on anything in a long time.

He goes through spells. When I talk to him he often mentions that he is done with the forum (for reasons I won't go into), or at least done posting. Haven't talked to him lately but he did change his avatar before Halloween. (hilarious BTW) He'll be back hopefully. I do miss him telling it like it is.
