Curing Time for Spotted-In Epoxy before 2K?

Hi. I've been lurking on this forum for a few years now picking up lots of good information to help with my occasional resto-rod projects. I've been an SPI epoxy user for some time but on the current project, I'm going almost all SPI ... epoxy, 2k, base, and universal clear. Have also found my way (through this forum) to Slick Sand and so far, I've been very impressed with it. My question is this ... I need to spot in some epoxy on a few panels I've been working on and then move on to a few coats of 2k -- so how long should I let the spotted epoxy cure before laying on the 2K? Is it best to let it sit overnight before the 2K or can I shoot it sooner? I'm in Oklahoma and garage temps are 80+. I'm a weekend hobby sorta painter so obviously I'm trying to get as much done in the time available, but I don't want to screw it up either. Thanks.

Always best over night but if spraying just a sand through with one coat @ 70 or higher 2 hours would work.

Thanks for the response, Barry. Yes, I'm just needing coverage for a few small sand-through spots.
