Dents and Epoxy

Hi,
After applying two to four coats of SPI white epoxy, I've started removing dents. Is there a limit on how much metal can be hammered on (reshaping) before one should consider removing the epoxy and reapply.

By the way I really love this primer, can't see using another epoxy ever!!!!!!

I personally would not take it off..properly applied it should stay on..quick scuff with 80 should show what needs to be done

You have to use common sense. If you've beaten on it, burned it, or somehow cracked it, it should come off. Otherwise, sand it and you're good to go.
