Doors off car

Hey guys, I have the doors off the car. Is it OK to spray base with the doors lying flat ?? I don't have anything to hang them, space is limited. Solid color. I ask because I hear guys mention to orient the panels as if they were on the car.
 
White base for a good pop in the sun, but for a solid color it's all the same from one panel to the next. Metallics may lay differently and show up if they are not postioned as on the vehicle.

Keep in mind that if you don’t have a nice, clean, well ventilated booth that you are likely to get a lot more trash in your paint when horizontal instead of vertical with the panels. At least that’s what I saw with my sprays. I saw a pretty dramatic difference in the amount of dust nibs.
