Downdraft booth air diffusers ?

I am curious to know how a commercial downdraft booth gets the proper air flow. Are there diffusers to direct the air above the ceiling filters? Are there diffusers under the exhaust filters ?
Pictures would be appreciated :)

ATI may be able to answer your questions, we have 535 diffusers in our paint booth...yeah it's 150ft by 250ft...huge.
