Epoxy And Filler

So I got the old epoxy all sanded and ready for 2 coats of new epoxy. There are a few areas where I will need to use some filler. Am I better off to spray the epoxy, apply filler, sand that and then apply the polyester primer or should I epoxy, polyester primer then put the regular filler on the areas where needed? I'm trying to get out of the epoxy recoat window cycle.

I would spray the epoxy. Do the filler work, then apply the poly primer for blocking/leveling.
Note that you very well may sand through the epoxy when working the filler. No problem just shoot more epoxy over that when you are happy with the filler.
Note: Epoxy should cure 48 hours before poly primer.
Yeah, it takes time...

Another vote for epoxy, filler, epoxy, and then whatever else. You’re almost always going to sand through to metal with filler so just plan on more epoxy. Not to mention you’ve blocked at least one coat of epoxy off the adjacent areas of filler work.
