epoxy arg !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the great industrialists of the modern era, Mr. Honda. When asked about his success he said for every thing I do right I do 10 things wrong

I can only wish a 10:1 ratio, I am more like 100:1 LOL.

Nice! That's a lot of work! SPI start to finish? epoxy under any filler areas? Goodmark panels?

Beautiful car! My favorite year, with one of my favorite color schemes. I painted one of mine the same colors several years ago.

To bad no motor, that is the only unique piece to not being just another Camaro :(

car looks exactly like mine. i replaced a lot of sheetmetal but almost all the rest of the parts are there . i have the original m22 with the vin stamped in it . they were pretty rare because they were so expensive . i had a 69 ss 396 back in the 70's and got a hankering for another one . i got it from a guy that had it for thirty years so it wasn't all butchered up .

yes . this car is a december 68 car with factory short spoiler which was an option on early cars. some people dont know they used 2 different size spoilers . early cars had the narrow one . i have console gauges , manual steering , black standard interior . the way to tell it was factory is one trunk lid torsion rod is larger than the other . of coarse it was a flat hood car . i have the original hood in perfect condition . car had a 396 with a tunnel ram on it so he stuck the hood in the garage rafters for 30 years instead of cutting a hole in it .

"filter balls restrict air flow and are toast in 5-10 min of spraying" x2! Biggest waste of money. The restriction they cause alone could be most of your problem. While you adjust your air pressure you may also need to adjust your fluid flow. 1/4 to 1/2 turn in will make a big difference.

Cool. So you have the clock in the center of the dash and a 6k redline on the tach? Almost identical to my orange car, except mine came without spoilers. Mine is a Jan. 69 build, so they had to be pretty close if your car has an X Code. (12B or later)

yes 12c car . i just made it . i have the tach and clock and x33 code on the tag . x3 behind the back seat. i did not paint over that . my vin is 566***

Another way to tell about the spoilers is the front subframe. The factory put a brace in the center of the chin spoiler, there will be a drilled and tapped hole on the front "horn" of the subframe. Most people that added them did not take the time to put the braces on. Awesome car, enjoy it!
