The outside of the truck I'm working on is basically fully stripped of paint and is nearly ready to be epoxyed. I'm also painting my door jambs. The jamb paint I believe to be original 1977 chevy paint. It's in pretty good shape so I don't think there is a need to sand the jambs to metal.
I would think it would be ok to sand the jambs with 180, apply epoxy, sand the epoxy with 400? And then apply base coat? Does that sound about right? Thanks!
