epoxy still tacky 24 hrs later, can I spray 2k or do I need to wait?

I sprayed epoxy yesterday afternoon and was planning on shooting 2k tonight but it seems a little tacky still (it's humid here). Is it ok to shoot or do I need to wait until fully cured?

Is it tacky to the touch, or just not sanding well? If it is still tacky after 24 hours, I would be concerned. What are the details.

Over night, may have a slight tack feel, that is nornal, BUT if you take a sheet of 180 dry it should sand, if not we have a problem.

I guess I have noticed a very slight tack after 24 hours, like Barry said. I don't like to sand epoxy until 48 hours if I can help it. After 24, I always get little black spots of epoxy clogging my paper. It does eventually go away, but it always starts out loading up the paper unless I wait two days.

I didn't try to sand it because I was just wanting to shoot 2k over it. I will check again tonight when I get home and hopefully it will be ok. Paint was in the 60's temp wise and induced for 20-30 min before shooting. This was the primer that was shot through my 2.0 tip suction gun as referenced in my other thread about fisheyes. Could the large tip have been a contributor?
If still a little tacky tonight, can I go ahead and clean with W&G and spray the 2k or should I lightly sand with 220 or something first then clean?

I'll bet it is the low temps combine with heavy coats that made it still a little raw yesterday.

If temerature is in question, I would put it in the sun as soon as you can and leave it there for atleast an hour, but 4 hours would be best. After it cools, sand with 180 - 220, like Barry said. If it sands ok, then you're good to go. Just blow it off and spray 2k. If you already had your hands all over it, then use 700 on it.
