epoxy storage

R

I was finally able to buy some epoxy a few months ago but still have not found the time to work on my truck. I was wondering if there is something I should be doing to make sure it stays good until I can use it.

Storing SPI Epoxy Primer

Store at a stable temp, like in house and once every 3-4 weeks flip the part A can over, this will keep things from settling.

Thanks Barry. I keep hoping to get a chance to use it , just cant seem to find the time.

old refrigerators work great. paint wont freeze in them. i never throw away a fridge. my welding stuff and grinding stuff is in one. all sandpaper and body stuff in one. keeps your paper from curling up .

Great idea. I have seen this done with welding stuff but the thought never hit me to store paint in one. Thanks.

I've got two fridges in the scrap pile, now Shine's got me thinking I should put my paint in them...... LOL, makes sense though.

Is there a maximum storage life as long as it has not been opened? I want to start purchasing products for the Stang while I have the cash now. But don't know exactly when I can get to shooting the stuff, maybe 1-2 years?

Not sure what this means. It's ok but really it's not ? I just bought some and won't be using it till next summer. Yes I'm aware of flipping the product. Was told it would be just fine, but it really won't be ? What are the concerns ? thank you
