Hi. I just sandblasted a mini bike frame. I just put about 2 light to medium coats of full strength epoxy on it. After a few hrs can i just go straight to color?? Im spraying nason single stage orange
Thank you

Thank you Bob
I ended up spraying a heavier coat over areas where the metal was heavily pitted. This is my brother in laws mini bike from when he was a kid. Its a 1971 sears model.
Here is a before and after pic of the gas tank and the frame in its current state in epoxy

cool stuff, I sold a RUPP without an engine a few years back on ebay and couldn't believe what the bidding got up to. Some of those bikes are quite collectable.

Awesome. The only thing thats gonna be a problem is all of the chrome.

Do you have any idea on how to take apart the front handlebars and fork?
I would like to replace a broken spring

Rupp.... Now there is a name I haven't thought of for sometime. I had a Rupp 125 or 100 (can't remember exactly) when I was younger. Guess I should have held onto it it might have been worth something today. Remember not being able to find parts for it though the muffler clogged and had to cut and gut to get it running again.

Looks like a fun little project you have going on. Looking good keep it up.

Thank you. I plan on getting the frame in color this weekend
