Guys, any issues with scuffing with a grey scotch-brite and using 710 to clean the primed panels the day before painting? Or is it best to do just before painting?

I always clean the very last step moments before painting. Irregardless if I cleaned the previous day or not. Personally I would never clean the day before, come in and paint with no further cleaning steps. Only way I would do that is if I had the vehicle sealed up in the booth and was sure no one else had touched or disturbed it. No booth, never.
Just me. What I've done for 30 years when painting.

The panels are in my shop and not going to be touch or disturb but I will give them an another round of cleaning. So no issue with scuffing the day before?

I sometimes clean the day of and sometimes clean the day before if the part is already sitting in my booth. But me myself and I is the only person in my garage and I have a dedicated home built “booth”. I will give it a quick wipe down with a shop towel the day of to remove any gross dust that may have settled and then tack off right before I spray. If I have to touch the part for any reason it gets recleaned. If I’m ever wiping anything off my exhaust is always on so I can suck out any dust that gets airborne.

I also wash my hands with Dawn before I go out to work to remove any food oil, etc from them.
