Gun question ?

Anyone on here use the Devilbliss 670 Plus to shoot the universal clear ? I see where it says to use the 1.4 tip but what about air pressure at gun, fan size, distance from the surface ? I always test on a wall or something but just would like to know what gives the best results for you guys that have this gun. Thanks.

Sure have, works great. I'd start around 32-35psi with the trigger pulled and go from there. Start with the fluid tip out about 2.5 turns, fan wide open.

Thank you for telling me how you set the gun up. Most of my painting has been with a Binks model 7 and these new guns are so different I will have to learn to paint all over again. I figured the way I set the model 7 up for painting would not be the same for the new guns. I never used wide open fan on the model 7 . Looks like I need to get a old fender and practice a lot.
