Hardener needed? 2:1 plus 5% but jobber says not needed

I am getting ready to spray some Delfleet FBC that in the tech sheet says needs to be mixed 2:1 plus 5% hardener PSG. The local jobber did not mention needing hardener when I bought the paint. When I went back today, he told me that I did not need the hardener but that I could use it. What the heck, the tech sheet says I need it but the jobber says that if it will dry on the lid of the can then it will be fine. Anybody have any experience with this? Do I need the hardener? This is going on aircraft fabric and fiberglass that will flex a bunch- will the hardener affect the ability of the paint to flex in the long run?

Thanks!

If it says it needs it, it needs it.
Everything dries eventually and you'll loose
durability without it.

Found a local guy who sold me the hardener in pint size. Hope to spray the correct ratio this week! Thanks again
