Hey guys, sprayed some clear this afternoon (5:30). Still looked good at 7:00, and was “dry” to touch. Walked out at 8:30, and noticed condensation on both the bed and roll pan. Brought the roll pan in the house and carefully wiped off moisture. Half the roll pan is completely dull, almost whitish, the other half is duller but still has some shine left. Had to leave but when got back went out and checked truck. Not sure what’s going on under moisture but bottom of truck that doesn’t have condensation is still shiny looks like as did when sprayed. So I’m pretty sure it’s the moisture causing the issues I’m seeing on rollpan. Can I let this sit out in sun for a few days and scuff sand and recoat? I had some orange peel that was worse than I’d like on the bed. Or will I have to remove clearcoat completely? Or if I decide to live with orange peel can this be buffed out? I should’ve waited and sprayed tomorrow earlier in the day but I rushed it.
I can give all the details if they’re needed. SPI epoxy and production clear coat with motobase lv base coat are the products.
