Has anyone used this HF 800 sanding disc to sand clear? I have used it a little by hand dry (not on a DA) and it seems way more aggressive than the Dura Gold 800 sheets I normally use wet with a soft block. If I use the duragold 800 dry (to sort of see what Im doing) it just seems to clog up instantly, the HF does not clog nearly as much. For example, I lightly sand out a run or divot with the 800 disc by hand, then it takes forever to remove those scratches with the dura gold 800 wet.

Any consumable product you buy at Harbor Freight is junk and actually will cost you a lot more when compared to something of good quality even though the price may be less. I'll relate an example. I was stripping a car, thought I had another sleeve of the strip discs I use. Turns out I didn't. Went by Harbor Freight that evening. Saw their strip discs, thought I'd give them a try as I wanted to get the stripping done that weekend on the car I was working on. The discs cost the same (4.99) as the ones I normally used. Well started stripping and the two discs I bought lasted about as long as 1/2 of one disc that I normally used. That made the "bargain" HF discs 4X as expensive as the good ones!

Sandpaper is so critical, I would never use any HF stuff on a car or anything else.

I got some of them Hercules 80 grit flap discs (tiger discs), my buddy send me a picture he was using a brand new one and it just disintegrated all of a sudden, pieces went flying. Lucky he had his apron on. Got me wanting to throw mine away.
