Hey all, I got some SPI intercoat clear that I am going to mix with pearl pigment. I have 4 differnt colors that I am going to play with. I got a white, blue, silver ghost pearl and a silver with a littel bit bigger fleck to it. My question is do I need a n activator for this or can I reduce with reducer. I got 2 fenders that are going to be my test mules to see what I like. I know some of you guys do a lot of custom work and make your own pearl paint. Any iformation would be helpful.

I would probably look at 1:1.5 reduction with urethane reducer for those colors and add an ounce per mix quart just to help stabilize the flake and color if for no other reason.
