Interesting Idea...Screen door for a garage...

Hi all. New here. About to enter the paint phase on my 68 FB Mustang so I have been trolling the threads for info (Never painted before in my life but the last guy I paid screwed up my Camaro so bad I swore I would do everything next time...so I can blame ME when it goes wrong :)

I saw some folks were having trouble controlling bugs in their garage when leaving the door open and painting, check this out (They also have single door ones available):

A bug will always find his way in. Especially after that last coat of clear and all the fumes are exhausted and you got it looking perfect. Come in next morning and you now have your own mascot or hood ornament. :D

Early in the morning is the best time to paint. Cool and calm.

i can tell you from experience that bugs will find a way in and do not go away during the day. i once worked into the night when we lived on the lake. it took several days for the bugs in my booth to die off. early morning is best but night time is just not the right idea. temp, humidity, bugs you name it.

If at all possible, I try to avoid working in my garage the night before I spray base or clear. Having the lights on brings the bugs in, which will still be there in the morning.

While the screen will keep the bugs out,the dust will come right on in.
I think the screen would be great for working in the garage in those areas of the country that are bug infested.
Up in my neck of the woods I might get 1 skeeter bite a year, at Shines place I get about 1 every 10 minutes, LOL.
