Is anyone around here an abrasives dealer??

im about due to re-up my sandpaper supply in the shop and I was wondering if anyone here is a dealer for any? I have a local jobber but all he carries is 3M red since thats what all the collision shops in my area use and its a pain getting anything ordered less than a case of each at a time. So I figured since it seems I am stuck ordering from somewhere anyways I may as well see if I can get it from someone here on the board.

Thanks

Bo

I had a Klingspor salesman walk into my shop and if you call them they might have an area salesman you can find to give you some pretty good discounts. When I ran a timesaver 24" sander the klingspor was definitely the best and longest lasting.

One of those nothing in it for me, but I was really shocked at the pricing he gave me. Plus they have 6" PSA discs in zirc in the really coarse discs. PM me if you want my salesmans number if you cant get a local guy.

Excellent, I'll see if I get anymore action on here then pm ya if nothing shows up

I've been using 40,80,120 grit from Klingspor for probably 7 years and it's the best stuff I've found and the price is unbeatable.

I don't like it as well for the finer grits in board paper. I use 3m gold for that. (320,400,240,180).

I'm talking 6" peel and stick and rolls of boardpaper.

I also use their 600 grit 800 grit and 1000 grit wet rolls for board paper.

The salesman came in and gave me a sample of the foam polishing disc. Pretty nice product. They had 4 grit ranges I think 12-1500 was the lowest and 2800-3500 was the finest. around 4 bucks a piece and you can mix them in the carton of 5. My salesman explained he was not much on the automotive side, but I guess woodworkers use these to polish their high gloss clear finishes. Got a box of 2800-3500 and the one just finer since we have paper up to 2000.
