Iwata LPH 400

I just purchased this gun a week ago and was finally able to use it to spray some UV clear. This gun is so amazing! I set it up per some of the recommendations on here and was able to spray clear with barely any orange peel. I am sure with with a little more tweaking on the settings and practice I will be able to spray the clear like glass. So is this gun also good for base coat? It has the silver cap and 1.4 needle/nozzle.

Silver cap should work fine for solid color base and most metallics.

Thanks, this gun sprays so much better than my Devlbliss Prolite ( at least for the clear).

I have that gun with also a "base cap" and usually just use the silver cap,
which I think does just as well, maybe better.

I use the LPH 400 Silver Cap 1.4 for epoxy primer, color and clear.
