Just picked up a Iwata LPH400 with the 1.4 for my clear, but should I invest in the 1.3 tip for base?
From everything Ive read it does both great with both base and clear with the 1.4.
I have the cheap-o vaper 1.8 from northern tool that I will use for primer now and I have the Devilbiss FL3 with 1.3-1.5 and 1.8 tip that I was going to use for my base..
Thinking now ill sell the Devilbiss (brand new, had one before but left her full of clear) have not used this one yet. And just get the 1.3 cap for the LPH400 and do both with that gun if its really worth it..
Ill be spraying a 67 mustang with Candy Apple Red Metallic (we think anyway)
I had great results with my last FLG3 shooting SPI black on a Bronco, but if the Iwata will shoot the metallic better with a 1.3 il head that route..
