Iwata WS/LS400 Question

I have been looking for a used Lph400 locally.
I did find a Ws/Ls400 used but don't know the needle size, it had 2001 or possibly 9001 printed on the needle from what I could see.
Would this be a decent gun for bc/cc and SS? I got it down to $310 but that's as low as he will go. Should I hold for an Lph400? I only want to spend once if possible.
 
Good gun, but you need to be sure of the tip size. LPH400 with 1.3 it what I use for all but primer. 1.3 or 1.4 will be fine.
 
I noticed Iwata has 2 different LS400 guns. One for base and the other for clear. What would be the difference?
