Lizard Skin

Has anyone used the Lizard Skin spray on sound deadener and/or ceramic insulation? I was thinking about using this and then putting a single stage color on top. It seems like most of the reviews are fairly positive from what I see.
Thanks,
Al

Used it a bunch. Works good. I believe there is a specific order you need to follow in order to use both products. One has to be applied first; I believe.

So when you used the Lizard skin, did you apply it to the interior of the car, the underside of the car or both?

I used both the sound control and the ceramic insulation on my '53 F100. I sprayed it inside anywhere using mats wasn't an option: roof, kick panels, under the dash. I also applied it on the underside of the floor and topcoated with Raptor bedliner. I'm happy with the results, I'll be happier if I can get rid of the wind noise from the doors. Quality clearly wasn't Job #1 at Ford in 1953.

Don't hose it on trying to get it to level out... thinner medium coats, plenty dry time between coats.

I've used lizrardskin on 2 projects so far, very happy with results. Pictured below is my 79 Z28 2 coats sound and 2 coats thermal sprayed though out inner body

I coated all outer surfaces with SPI epoxy

Just curious, is there a reason why you didn't also spray it underneath the car?
When I see the under sides of cars coated with products such as under coatings the first thing, I think of is what are they trying to hide. It might not be the case, but heavy textured finish is known for hiding low quality metal work and or low-quality prep work.

That underside looks so good, if you have three or more coats spi black epoxy I would leave that right where it is! :)
Thanks
car has four coats on complete under side of body and that was the plan going in from the start.

Maybe. Maybe not. I color match undercoating on cars for looks...
