Hello folks. I am a fairly novice painter that said iv only ever used SPI, mainly universal. as I was trolling through face book I found a local guy selling Sikkens 2-pack Autoclear. for $125 I know Sikkens is suppose to be good but I have no experience with it. is this something i should snatch up and use? or shy away from. obviously I will need to check the production date, If I was going to buy. what are some thoughts.

Don’t know anything about it other than Sikkens is top shelf, but I’d want to make sure that hardener is good, or buy new hardener for it.

that clear right there is bad ass. no idea what it cost these days. 8 years ago it was close to 400 a gal. if the cat is good i would snatch that up. keep in mind it is am extremely slow clear. it flows out like glass. by comparison spi universal clear with slow act would seem like a speed/turbo clear.

It's for heated downdrafts, imo.

It is a baking clear but it does air dry just fine if your not in a rush.

Well it's just that the flash time is so long that every bug and piece of fluff might have time to find it. So buyer beware unless you have a really nice clean spray area.
