Hi im new to this whole paint and body work stuff im a welder by trade. What I'm doing is filling the holes on my hatch on my mustang where the stock wing would bolt to. After I weld them up what kind of filler would I use and what grit sand paper should I use to sand down the filler and prep the rest of the hatch also what should I use to wipe the hatch down with before I spray with epoxy primer. Sorry for all of the questions thanks in advance

I use a green roloc to prep welds, 36 grit I believe. the rest of panel prepped as applicable(full color change or just shaving this area or???)

Then waterborne wax and grease remover.

then I epoxy the bare steel.

I prefer rage extreme, or I have been using keystone gold here lately(its only $30 a gallon compared to $50 for rage) a lot of guys like the marson platinum but i havnt used any being as its not available in my neck of the woods.

I use 80 grit on a file board to do my initial roughing in on my fillers.

after the filler is where you want it re w&G remover then re-epoxy prime.

then on to 2k.

Actually the car is getting put in the epoxy primer and then getting vinyl wrapped my buddy owns a tint and wrap company so he's going to wrap the car to.show his work.and I get a free wrap to promote his work

After the 80 grit what should I sand the rest of the hatch down with to prep I need it pretty smooth for the vinyl wrap
