Getting some ideas on process of cutting and buffing.

I have never done this before to the level I would like to. I'm lost in products and techniques

I'm going to put 3 coats of spi universal clear on. Sand with 400-800 and then clear 3 more times

I'm new so I'm expecting to have more orange peel than most of you. Was planning on sanding that out with 800-1000wet hand block

Then go up to 2000wet with a block

Why I posted is.......at my level.....what would you do?

What products would you use?
How much of it would you buy for 1 mid sized car?
Would you block all of it or use a da?
Would you go wet sanding or dry da pads
How fast rpm on buffer

What I have now:
Dewalt adjustable buffer
Adjustable da
1 3000 trizact
1 5000 trizact I used for headlights.....can't believe the difference the 5000 made after the 3000
Off brand cutting compounds that someone gave me....seems to work well
3m perfect it polishing pad 8" hook it
Da 6" rigid hookit pad
Sheets of 1000, 2000 wet or dry
Durablock set
Soft block set

Someone borrowed my 8" hookit pad so I don't have that and would have to rebuy

I need to know what to buy and especially how much of it with whatever technique is recommended.

In laying paint in the door jamb area .....trunk area etc.
how would you do this......I'm talking order of operations to paint the car...

Parts on.....parts off?
Parts painted and then put the car together?
Start at the roof or the hood?
Put car together then paint?

Paint door jabs and clear them....then paint the car?

I'm kind of lost at this point.....never taken one this far down before.

I'm still in the blocking primer stage.

The car is 180 blocked right now in pieces.....panels just laying on stands

Would you put it together mocked up and block it so the body lines are straight and even
