New base coat gun

I'm thinking of retiring my Sata nr2000 to just a sealer gun, and buying a better basecoat gun. I use the rp4000 and lph400 for clear with great results...what's the best base coat gun?...sata hvlp 4000? thoughts?
 
Here is feedback I get from painters all day long.

Sata HVLP's are excellent base guns. (not my opinion)

Personally after getting stuck with an NR95 when they first came out, I have never owned a Sata Hvlp since, just the RP's.
 
Talk to satarules on here(Russ) . as far as I know sata doesn't allow any online sales. My brother and I have bought a couple of guns from Russ and I don't see buying one anywhere else for a while.
 
You will need to go through your local jobber or even sites that sell guns online, you have to call them to actually order it.

Or use someone like Russ. Check ebay also...
 
So is the Sata 4000 hvlp the gun to get for base coat?...1.3? 1.4?...I currently spray with a 1.4 Sata 2000 hvlp...stick with it? I've been spraying with it since it came out some 15yrs ago....nr95 before that. thanks, Dan.
