New clear gun advice

I just finally scored an LPH400LV silver cap so now I have a base gun (devilbiss GTI milleneum) and a clear gun and am almost ready to tackle cortez silver. Only problem is it has a 1.3 tip. Will this work - I see everyone using 1.4 for UC? I did an ebay search and can't for the life of me find anyone who sells the tips - anyone have any sources?
I can't wait til it gets here, I am dying to try it.
 
I don't see why you can't use a 1.3 for universal clear. I have the same gun, with a 1.3 set up and it works great with MS clear.
 
Depends on where you live as I understand.. Living up North as Bob does it doesnt create issue's that it does living in the south like I do according to Barry
 
Thanks guys, I will try the 1.3 first and see how it works. Just a little more sanding...............
