Options on these nibs

I have taken a fender to 8000 grit. I started with an obvious couple nibs. I knocked them flat with a tungsten nib blade, the began sanding. I had some bad orange peel due to a gun issue, so I started with 500 grit. Buy the time I finished 1000 I had flattened the worst nib but right in the center a divot started to show up white while sanding. I worked it awhile with 1000 and 1200 but chickened out not wanting to sand through since I started with 500 already. I hoped that it would disappear by the time it was done. It did shrink some but its still there and I can feel it so its pretty deep making me think it was on one of my first clear coats. To my dismay as I sanded 4 more showed up that were not visible in the earlier grits. The others are pretty small but none are in inconspicuous spots. They are all in the most visible part of the fender. I am attaching a couple pics of the worst ones. Under a loupe they look like perfect little white craters with the exception of the biggest it looks like two craters together with a little fuzziness in it.

So what are my options to address? If I blow air it removes some of the sanding dust but they are still visible. will these disappear in compound and polish? I kinda doubt it. Do I just need to risk sanding more and potentially reshooting the whole fender? can I dab a bit of clear or clear mixed with base on it and knock it flat without it standing out bad like it does now?

worst one

The worst one is at my index finger there is a small one just above my thumb perfect circle. Sorry there is some dust on the fender so it is up and to the right above my thumb

another one near the outside edge of the fender

Are they nibs or little craters filled with sanding dust? What happens if you rub a little 710 wax and grease remover into them? Do they turn blue or stay white? What was the color of your sealer?

The look like tiny craters. I was assuming I sanded out the dust that occupied the dimple. Grey sealer, then 3 coats blue base, then 5 coats clear. First 2 of clear where crap until I figured out the gun issue. Plan was for 4. I sprayed one extra since I had issues on the first two. They appear completely white as if filled with sanding dust to the naked eye and under a loupe. I have used air and some blows out but not to the point they disappear. I have tried sprayaway and W&G remover but they are visible after drying.

edit - I believe this is 100% in the clear as I denibbed base before spraying clear, I'm just unsure how deep in the clear it is.

You can try hitting an area with a quick compound but it probably won’t go away.

Are you sure it wasn’t in the base? Because if you denibbed the base and it had happened within the first coat of base, then it would reveal the sealer once removed.

When something like this happens I add some color and clear to the hole with a fine modeling brush. Add a little, let it flash, and keep adding a little more to build it up. Then sand and buff with the rest of the panel.

so you said when the 710 dries they are white but thats not what we are talking about. put 710 on it and let it sit wet for a sec. while its wet does the white go away? if so just dab clear in it. give it a couple days to cure then knock flat with some 1500 and buff it. if its stays white then you can add some color to it but it will end up being darker blue once cured than the surrounding paint. better than being white though i guess

I have experienced this using a festool denib on large nibs. It's like it digs in too much or takes the nib and clear with it. Since then, on large nubs. Or bug I sand it instead of using the festool
