Pad Washer ?

What are you guys using to cleam your buffing pads? I am looking into a pad washer or is it not worth it. Now I just use hose and brush on foam and wool. Thanks Tom

I use warm water and Palmolive dish soap.

Dawn dish soap and a scrub brush. Takes a couple of minutes each pad.

Wool pads are put back on the buffer and spun dry inside an empty garbage can. Foam are wrung out and placed on a screen until dry.

I never wash them, I use a buffing spur before every use. I also never set them on the floor

Hack here but I wash mine in the laundry washing machine lol

A couple squirts of chemical guys pad cleaner then a rinse under the tap followed by a spin dry in the shop sink. The pad cleaner is good stuff. A little goes a long way.

i rarely clean mine. i like when they get compound all worked into them. i really dislike a fresh pad lol. only time i wash is if for some reason they get glazed over or i am buffing my boat which gets the pad all loaded with color. if it gets glazed over then thats a sign your using a little too much compound. if i do wash i just give a squirt of soap like dawn or car wash soap then just hose them off. sometimes just a hard spray of water from a hose will work good enough. pop it back on the buffer and spin dry.
