preferred seam sealer?

I am getting close to needing seam sealer and I notice there are about 100 different choices. My local jobber carries 3m. My jobber about 45 min away carries sem as well. I have a 3m automix gun already but is the 2k the way to go? If so which product is preffereable?

I like Lord Fusor because it is very easy to apply. It is about the same consistency as bath caulk, so it can get a little messy if you aren't careful. After i caulk the seams i use their gun to spray the seam sealer for a professional look.

The stuff Chris is talking about is a 1K urethane, 3M has very similar stuff and the application gun if you want to go sprayable but be prepared to spend some coin. Most of my seam sealing gets done with 3M ultrapro urethane. There are a lot of solvent based, urethane, and 2K epoxy and urethane sealers to pick from. Stay away from the old solvent sealers IMO.

For 2-part I prefer sem over fusor, haven't tried 3m.

As far as 1k.. I wouldn't use the new stuff Fusor has, I tried it on a job and you can rub it right off with your thumb VERY easily after a month..
I've never really had much luck with 1k seam sealers though.. Anybody have any luck with anything.

Im using evercoat maxxim 2k self leveling seam sealer. So far it has been 2 weeks it layed out very smooth and seems impossible to try and take off as i tried cleaning whatever fell out of the cartridge on the floor. It dried pretty tough image-443026593.jpg
