quick epoxy question

I just mix up in morning in a painters pail and leave it on the bench.
If over night I will trow some type of cover on it, usually just set a gallon paint can on top.

If I did that I would knock the whole thing over the next morning and have a mess to clean up, LOL. Enjoy your youthful memory while you have it!

You know, I've kinda noticed this problem for me, when I use the epoxy has a HB primer. Maybe it just isn't inducing as much as it needs to be in order to use it this way? I usually wait 10-15 min. Maybe should be more like 30 min or overnight? This isn't the new batch of epoxy. They aren't deep and they all sand out fine...and this ONLY happens when I use the epoxy as a HB primer.

This isn't a complaint, as I am abusing the epoxy....just what I've noticed. I took shines approach to spraying the epoxy on the 65 vette with my 2.5 SATA poly gun. It really did amaze me that this stuff didn't run in the floor. I'm sure that could add to the scenerio also.
