"During the summer the booth fan MUST be shut off as soon as the overspray is gone! Do
Not let the fan run longer than a minute after the last coat of clear is applied. We
designed it this way."

What's happening here that the fans would affect? I'm curious from a chemical standpoint of what's going on.

SPI Universal Clear

There are two ways to design a clear, to work in a bake booth or to work in bad air flow areas, such as old paint booths, garages and open shop/

Restro shops tend to have old cross drafts booths where air flow and heat can be a problem, the Chevy dealer tends to have 150,000 dollar booths.

Its all solvent mixture.

If the fan was overlooked, or accidently left on after the last coat for several minutes, what many happen? Solvent entrapment? How is it different then running the booth between coats? Why wouldn't running booth between coats for up to 30 minutes between coats have same effect as running booth after final coat?...the clear coat on surface doesn't know if another coat will be applied over it or not.

If left on, MAY be a little die-back or popping over night.
Clear does know difference as each coat softens the last coat and draws the solvents.

So as long as re-coated in 30-45 minutes, not an issue.
