RE-shooting clear

Am I safe re-shooting Universal Clear that has cured 2 or 3 weeks after wet sanding with 400 and 600 grit?
Just want to make sure I don't need to shoot any intermediate clear for adhesion first.
 
No intermediate product is necessary or desired, as danp says, just well cleaned and sanded clear is all that is needed.
