We did bring back just the SPI red, due to threats on my life from a few body shops.
Same as before but only in gallons.
Does it fade? we use the highest rated red powder and we also add UV's to the base, don't think that is a common practice but unable to find out.
Two coat coverage with a third for fun and real close to flame and viper red.
Since my personal set of guns only shoot red and have never shot any other color in 40 years, I can tell you this is the finest red available anywhere and you should use it!!!!
there you go 540, just get barrys red, if you like that tint. barry you have to make black again (although i havent used mine up yet). i am jealous of the red. barrys base is tough, almost like ss! 540 if you get his red youll have the full spi system, with the best customer service in the world.
I am very happy I can use the whole system. I am going to order the stuff tomorrow.
2 gallons of the red( I like too have extra), 2 gallons of the universal clear and 8 quarts of the activator(I will use some painting some panel on my vette), what ever reducer I need for the paint(would I be able to use another brand of reducer) and 1 gallon white sealer(does that come with everything needed to mix and spray it).
Thanks for your help
steve
might as well use the spi reducer..slow or extra slow....you wont find another high quality reducer for the price. i use it instead of my sikkens reducer now.
if you have to buy any locally, only get the top brand reducers.......dont get any of the omni, nason, etc........stay with the high ends and you'll be fine. and the sealer, you need to get the activator also.
Rusty.... Again you do things a little different than everyone here. We see cars running around here all the time with a hood or deck lid painted flat black. The rest of the car is painted a shiny color.
