sanding 2K prior to paint

P

I have completed all body repairs to the truck I am working on and all panels have epoxy and now regular 2K urethane primer over them. Some panels have been in the state for about 2 years inside my garage. I plan to paint in the spring. My question is: if I sand in the spring with 400 grit will the 2K be fine for painting over?

Yes, it'll be good to go.
Some will put a sealer coat of epoxy over it right before
painting because it increases adhesion, but painting
over 2K that's been sanded with 400 is the normal way.

Thanks jcclark. I just wanted to be sure the extended storage period didn't change anything.

If it has sat final sanded for a long period of time just go over it good with a grey scotchbrite and clean it well before painting, you should really seal it with epoxy before any paint goes on if you want the best chip resistance.
