SATA 100bf RP

i have had a 100b hvlp in a 1.9 for a primer gun for it has to be 15 years now. great gun. use it every day and i dont think i have ever replaced a part on it. always sprays great, easy to clean. i have 2 of the 1000b's also. these are the exact same gun just not specifically marketed to primer. one is a 1.9 and the other a 3.0mm. i would never buy one of the super expensive sata guns again. that gun is avail in any tip size, hvlp or rp and are fantastic.

the 100b is generally a primer gun but i shoot clear and ss through it all the time and that is with a 1.9. its choked down of course. it sprays just fine but it doesnt atomize it like my 3000rp. my 100b is an hvlp so wont atomize like an rp. i guess not a fair comparison either since tip sizes are totally different also i am not familiar with the "f" designation of the gun you are looking at. im not sure what that means or if there is a difference from the std 100b.

concerning the price, about 2 years ago i checked the price and as chris said about $450 and that was with an alum cup. i bought my 1000b maybe 6 mos ago and those have always been priced the same as the 100b since its basically the same gun. when i got that one it was $650 so price went up significantly.
