Sharing a handy home made tool for paint removal

I saw it as well. A company will surely start making something similar very soon I’m sure.

No doubt. I've seen some that are similar, however..........this homemade one has more versatility, more options with how you set it up. Obviously you can make it any length you need, that's a big plus. You also have the ability to control the stiffness of the wire bristles, another plus over buying one sight unseen. It will also last longer than a store bought one since you can move the wire bristles out as they wear.

I think it's a pretty cool homemade tool with many possibilities.

i may try this, but with steel tube and some kind of die for crimp. im pretty ham fisted, i can see me bending and tearing up the copper. maybe a sleeve over the copper.....

Using a steel sleeve will work, however, wrapping the steel sleeve in copper will help protect material you're working on from damage. Steel just isn't as forgiving as copper.
